Grab a measuring tape and take a quick moment while your pup is snoozing:

1. Measure nose to tail while they’re stretched out.

2. Add 6–10 inches to make sure they’ve got wiggle room.

3. Think about how they sleep—curled up? Flat on their back? Sprawled out like a starfish?

When in doubt, size up. More room means more comfort (and fewer stolen spots on your couch).
